Business Manager – West Africa FMCG

About the role

Monster Energy is expanding rapidly across West Africa and is looking for a Business Manager to lead the market development from Casablanca. You will act as the primary link between Monster, its distribution partner, and the field, driving growth in high‑potential bottler markets such as Ghana, Ivory Coast and Senegal.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly sell‑in and sell‑out volume targets across West Africa in line with the business plan.
• Manage the relationship with the distribution partner, set KPIs and hold sales teams accountable.
• Review P&L performance, recommend actions to protect and improve profitability.
• Train and coach distributor sales teams on merchandising standards, assortment and cooler placement.
• Lead joint business planning, set distribution targets and coordinate promotional activities with the bottler.
• Own annual business planning, forecasting and reporting, collaborating closely with supply chain.
• Monitor competitor activity, market share and rate of sale to keep the region ahead of the curve.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of FMCG sales experience, preferably in beverages.
• Proven ability to manage or influence a distribution partner system.
• Strong commercial finance understanding and experience owning a P&L.
• Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in an international matrix organization.
• Fluent in French and English.
