CAD Designer – Automotive Air Vents

About the role

Bertrandt Morocco, part of the Bertrandt Group which has served the international automotive and aircraft industry since 1974, is looking for a CAD designer to design automotive air vent components. The role sits within the automotive sector (body in white, interior and exterior, layout, powertrain and electronics) and involves working with design, simulation, validation, manufacturing and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop automotive air vent components using CAD software (CATIA V5/V6).
• Create and update 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings according to customer requirements and automotive standards.
• Take part in product development from concept to production.
• Ensure compliance with quality, cost, timing and technical requirements.
• Support design reviews, feasibility studies and engineering change requests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation, and gain exposure to international automotive projects and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a related field.
• Experience in CAD design, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Good knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 and automotive product development processes.
• Understanding of plastic components, injection molding and manufacturing constraints.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good English and ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
