Compliance Officer for Morocco & Algeria

About the role

The Compliance Cluster Lead for Morocco and Algeria will support commercialisation objectives by providing focused, relevant, and actionable risk insights. Partnering with General Managers, you will prioritize and address key risks, reinforcing accountability and embedding a strong risk culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with LOC GMs and leadership to assess and manage priority risks within the Internal Control Framework.
• Provide strategic compliance advice, coaching, and risk‑mitigation guidance on high‑risk activities.
• Turn data into action by delivering insight‑driven risk advice to LOC leaders.
• Oversee Commercial Alliance partnerships, ensuring effective governance and risk management.
• Coordinate quarterly Cluster Risk Management and Compliance Board meetings and report on risk‑management effectiveness.
• Participate in Independent Business Monitoring and Third Party Monitoring reviews, ensuring corrective actions.
• Act as escalation point for ABAC due‑diligence queries and compliance investigations.
• Lead targeted risk deep‑dives on priority topics such as launch readiness reviews.

Required profile

• University degree in Law, Business, Risk Management, Life Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance, risk, legal, audit or similar roles in a regulated industry, preferably pharma/healthcare.
• Practical experience managing investigations, corrective actions and escalations.
• Fluent in French, English and Arabic (written and spoken).
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions and leadership levels.
