Country Finance Manager – Morocco

About the role

The Country Finance Manager for Morocco will lead the finance function, define financial strategy, and ensure the company’s financial stability while advising senior leadership. This senior position operates in a fast‑moving environment, supporting growth, profitability, cash flow, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, building capabilities across all finance functions.
• Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, influencing business decisions and providing insights on pricing, investments, risks, and commercial performance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning, and scenario analysis (FX, commodities, costs).
• Deliver accurate financial reports, profitability and variance analysis, and develop KPIs and dashboards.
• Drive cost optimization across operations and supply chain, and support efficiency initiatives.
• Manage closing processes, ensure compliance with IFRS, statutory and local regulations, and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
• Ensure corporate governance, internal controls, and risk management in collaboration with group functions.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and financing instruments.
• Optimize working capital, credit risk, and collections to improve cash conversion.
• Monitor FX and commodity price exposures and support hedging strategies.
• Lead finance systems (ERP, reporting, data), digital transformation, and process automation.
• Supervise capital expenditure planning, investment evaluation, and support M&A activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a finance function in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local statutory requirements, and corporate governance.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
