Engineer Assistant Manager

About the role

The Engineer Assistant Manager will support the Director of Engineering in overseeing all aspects of building maintenance and landscaping for Four Seasons Hotel Rabat. This position ensures the safety, comfort, and high‑standard experience for guests and staff across a large resort campus.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, painting, carpentry, structural, fire safety and ground‑care systems.
• Manage outsourced gardening, parking area upkeep, recycling and overall site safety.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance inquiries and service requests.
• Lead talent development, supervise work execution, and follow up on work orders.
• Prepare purchase requisitions, evaluate meter readings, and support the Safety Committee and energy‑conservation program.

Required profile

• Leadership experience in a hotel or resort environment.
• Technical knowledge of general building maintenance and environmental standards.
• Project‑management experience is a strong asset.
• Strategic, analytical mindset with solid business acumen.
• Fluency in French, Arabic and English and eligibility to work in Morocco.
