Events, Partnerships & PR Specialist – Zenata

About the role

IKEA Morocco is looking for an Events, Partnerships & PR Specialist to boost local relevance, drive business growth and strengthen corporate reputation. You will work closely with the Service Office to adapt regional initiatives for the Moroccan market while delivering memorable brand experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute commercial events, store openings, pop‑up launches and special customer experiences, managing logistics, suppliers, production, budgets and timelines.
• Identify, develop and manage strategic B2B and B2C partnerships, negotiate agreements and evaluate their business impact.
• Develop and execute PR activities for product launches, campaigns and corporate announcements, coordinating media coverage, press events and storytelling opportunities.
• Support IKEA Morocco’s corporate reputation through local PR, sustainability communications, crisis communication and media briefings.
• Lead community engagement and CSR initiatives, building partnerships with local organisations and representing IKEA at external events.
• Act as the main liaison between IKEA Morocco and the Service Office, ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines and regional communication priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and delivering events, marketing activations and PR campaigns.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and timelines while maintaining brand consistency.
• Experience in establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships with commercial partners, NGOs, institutions or developers.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with media, stakeholders and community partners.
• Capability to collaborate with regional teams and adapt global initiatives to local market needs.
