Finance Associate – Casablanca

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Associate to join our Casablanca team, reporting to the Entity Finance Manager N&WA. The role involves handling accounting transactions, supporting month‑end closing and contributing to planning and reporting activities for JTI Morocco.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounting transactions in line with IAS/IFRS and local requirements, including AP, AR, intercompany revenues and manual accruals.
• Manage accounts payable, invoice submission, booking, payments and GRIR clearing.
• Maintain fixed assets, ensure statutory closing in partnership with external auditors, and oversee inventory and asset compliance.
• Execute month‑end closing, assist in entity planning exercises and prepare internal reports such as Cbcr, JCFC and insurance.
• Support continuous improvement projects and define process optimisation plans.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience in a Big 4 audit firm or multinational corporation.
• Full professional proficiency in French and English.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software and reporting tools.
