Food & Beverage Service Trainee – Fine Dining (Colonnade)

About the role

Join the Colonnade team at Mandarin Oriental Palace Luzern as a Food & Beverage Service Trainee. You will support the fine‑dining restaurant’s daily operations, learn high‑end service standards, and develop a deep understanding of seasonal menus and guest expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional manner.
• Maintain high‑quality service standards and adhere to hygiene regulations.
• Assist supervisors with daily tasks and ensure proper mise en place.
• Set up, clean, and reset the restaurant for service.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to guarantee food safety.

Required profile

• Open‑minded and enthusiastic about guest interaction.
• Strong service orientation with a team‑player attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and polished appearance.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and under pressure.
• Very good English and basic German language skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP food‑safety standards.
