Frame Maintenance Senior Specialist

About the role

Martur Fompak, a manufacturer and supplier of seating systems, vehicle interiors and automotive textiles, is looking for a Frame Maintenance Senior Specialist in Tangier. The role leads preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance in the Metal Zone, ensuring equipment uptime and production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities in the Metal Zone.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime and production efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic and automation-related failures.
• Support and optimise welding equipment, robotic cells, press machines, conveyors and metal processing systems.
• Analyse recurring breakdowns and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and quality teams to improve equipment performance.
• Manage maintenance documentation, work orders, spare parts and technical records.
• Take part in equipment installation, commissioning and industrialisation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement on reliability, safety, cost reduction and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company standards.
• Coach and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and best practices.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or a related field.
• At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive or metal industry.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving experience.
• Knowledge of maintenance KPIs and preventive maintenance systems.
• Fluent in both English and French.

Required skills

• Metal processing equipment and welding technologies (spot welding, MIG/MAG, resistance welding)
• Robotic systems (ABB, KUKA, FANUC or equivalent)
• Industrial automation and control systems
• PLC troubleshooting and programming (Siemens, Schneider, Allen Bradley, etc.)
