Front Office Manager – Rabat Marriott Hotel

About the role

Assists the Front Office Manager in administering front office functions and supervising staff on a daily basis. Front office areas include Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard and Guest Services/Front Desk. The role ensures efficient check‑in/check‑out, guest and employee satisfaction and maximizes departmental financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the front office, maintaining quality standards and meeting guest expectations.
• Develop goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work while handling complaints and resolving conflicts.
• Supervise staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives.
• Communicate business objectives to employees, recognize performance, and drive results.
• Lead, influence, and coach the front desk team, fostering trust, respect, and cooperation.
• Ensure compliance with property policies, credit procedures, and occupancy‑maximizing practices.
• Provide exceptional customer service, respond to guest issues, and empower staff to exceed expectations.
• Support HR activities such as coaching, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and disciplinary processes.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest services/front desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
• Ability to perform front desk duties and run shifts when needed.
