Hammamiste – Spa Therapist

About the role

Marriott International is seeking a dedicated Hammamiste to join its spa team in Rabat. You will deliver high‑quality massage and body‑treatment services, ensuring each guest enjoys a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy using appropriate props and products.
• Assess guest needs, verify contraindications (e.g., allergies, hypertension, pregnancy) and maintain accurate records.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, arrange workstations, and keep the environment clean and sterilized.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products, adhering to Marriott’s sales standards.
• Monitor treatment schedules, handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott SOPs, and report safety incidents.
• Maintain current licensure, complete required safety training, and follow all company policies.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to massage or body therapy.
• At least one year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license valid for Morocco.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb without assistance.
