Head of Shared Service Centre – Business Services

About the role

The Head of Shared Service Centre – Business Services leads Swissport Business Services in Morocco, overseeing a centre of more than 75 full‑time employees that supports operations in 40 countries. The role ensures consistent, high‑quality finance services for internal and external stakeholders while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SBS centre operations across Procure‑to‑Pay and Service‑to‑Cash processes.
• Direct the Record‑to‑Report / General Accounting team, covering General Ledger, Intercompany, Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to assess service quality, efficiency and SLA compliance.
• Ensure timely processing of key financial transactions such as invoice handling.
• Serve as primary liaison for regional finance leaders, aligning SBS services with business needs.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives, process optimisation and automation.
• Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting and enforce internal controls.
• Lead talent development, coaching, and employee engagement within the SBS team.
• Act as escalation point for service‑delivery issues and collaborate with internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• Seasoned leader with a strong accounting background.
• Proven experience managing large finance teams in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to communicate performance metrics and strategic insights to senior management.
• Track record of delivering operational excellence and implementing process automation.
