About the role
The Hotel Director (S) leads the hotel operations on a luxury cruise vessel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and crew performance. This senior role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on management of multi‑outlet hospitality services.
Key responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and overall leadership for all hotel departments.
- Oversee daily hotel operations to guarantee optimum guest satisfaction and crew friendliness.
- Implement and maintain Forbes 5‑star standards, preparing the ship for possible inspections.
- Resolve onboard challenges promptly and conduct inspiring daily morning meetings.
- Mentor department heads, identify training needs, and support talent development.
- Distribute NPS scores, financial data, and voyage reports to stakeholders at the end of each voyage.
Required profile
- 6‑8 years of professional experience in luxury hotel operations (multi‑outlet), with at least 5 years in a management position.
- Previous cruise‑line experience is an advantage.
- Excellent fluent English (verbal and written); additional language skills are a plus.
