Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily cleaning operations at Sofitel Royal Bay Resort in Agadir. You will coordinate room attendants, ensure VIP rooms are prepared to the highest standards, and maintain overall cleanliness throughout the property.

Key responsibilities

• Guide room attendants through daily cleaning sequences and verify compliance.
• Prepare VIP amenities, extra beds, and special items before guest arrival.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and storage areas daily to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Conduct on‑the‑job training, monitor employee grooming, and ensure punctuality and proper attendance.
• Manage inventory of linen, report lost‑and‑found items, and handle damage notifications.
• Coordinate handover between shifts, attend daily housekeeping briefings, and report any irregularities to security.
• Maintain equipment, ensure trolleys are correctly positioned, and supervise overall housekeeping performance.

Required profile

• College degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Fluent in English, Arabic and French.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to attract and develop talent, adapt to changing business environments, and support efficient financial management of the department.
