HR Manager - Plant

About the role

Tenneco is looking for an HR manager to join its plant management team. The role is a key part of aligning people and strategic goals with the site's operations, productivity targets, processes and systems, while keeping employee safety as the top priority. The HR manager contributes to plant KPIs, drives people engagement and accountability, and helps build Tenneco's culture in the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to plant KPIs and drive people engagement and accountability
• Help establish Tenneco culture in the plant
• Support employees with individual development plans that foster organizational growth
• Establish clear, direct communication within the plant using radical candor and emotional intelligence
• Partner with the Plant Manager and other functional leaders to analyse and forecast workforce requirements
• Lead the execution of workforce planning objectives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience leading an HR function within a plant environment
• Proven experience supporting operational excellence in a manufacturing environment
• Ownership and a proactive approach
