HW PCB Designer

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled Hardware PCB Designer to lead the layout design of printed circuit boards for high‑current, low‑voltage applications. You will translate system requirements into detailed PCB schematics, perform routing, and ensure compliance with functional safety and cybersecurity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze PCB requirements and constraints, perform circuit partitioning, component placement, and routing.
• Generate and deliver technical work packages including Gerber files, fabrication and assembly documentation.
• Support design reviews, simulations, DFMEA, thermal analysis, functional safety (FuSa) and cybersecurity deliverables.
• Manage change requests, documentation, and ensure PCB deliveries meet project schedules and quality standards.
• Select appropriate PCB materials and create high‑level design specifications linked to system requirements.
• Maintain requirements management tools and ensure all PCB specifications are captured before design freeze milestones.

Required profile

• Technical master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as a PCB Design Engineer.
• Proven experience with Xpedition and PCAD tools.
• Hands‑on experience designing low‑voltage, high‑current boards up to 6 layers.
