Ingénieur(e) Conception Radio 3G/4G/5G

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Radio Design Engineer to join our telecom team in Rabat. You will work on strategic projects covering 3G, 4G and 5G networks, combining radio engineering, performance analysis and data‑driven automation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct coverage, capacity and traffic studies for 3G/4G/5G networks.
• Design and size new radio sites or modify existing ones, defining azimuth, tilt, height, power, frequency bands and antenna configurations.
• Perform radio planning and simulations using ATOLL.
• Analyze network performance through radio KPIs and propose optimisation actions.
• Automate data extraction, analysis and reporting with Python, SQL and advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros/VBA).
• Produce technical deliverables and maintain engineering repositories.
• Carry out exposure studies and related technical analyses.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Bac+5) in Telecommunications, Networks or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in mobile radio design, planning or optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies and radio dimensioning principles.
• Proficiency with the ATOLL planning tool.
• Ability to work with large data sets and automate processes.

Required skills

• ATOLL (ACP/AFP) for radio planning.
• Python (including Pandas for data manipulation).
• SQL for database queries.
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, VBA/macros).
• LTE/5G radio planning and optimisation.
• Radio KPI analysis (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, handover success rate, call drop rate).
• TEMS investigation tools.
• Huawei tools such as U2000, GENEX, ISDP.
