Injection Molding Technician

About the role

An Injection Molding Technician is needed to run and maintain injection molding equipment, ensuring efficient production of plastic parts while meeting quality and safety standards. The role suits someone with hands-on experience in molding operations, preferably in the automotive industry.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, start up and shut down injection molding machines
• Install and remove molds according to production planning
• Adjust machine parameters for optimal performance and product quality
• Monitor production, respond to machine alarms and process deviations, and troubleshoot molding defects
• Carry out first-piece inspections and support quality control
• Keep to production schedules and efficiency targets
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and record production data and process parameters
• Maintain a clean workplace according to 5S standards and comply with safety, quality and environmental regulations

Required profile

• Technical diploma in plastics processing, mechanical engineering, electromechanics, industrial maintenance or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in injection molding, preferably in the automotive industry
• Ability to read technical drawings and process documentation
• Willingness to work in shifts
• Basic English; French is an advantage
