IT Desktop and Network Support (Dispatch) - Rabat

About the role

Brilliant Computers is looking for a freelance IT Desktop and Network Support technician based in Rabat. The role provides administration and maintenance of IT hardware and software in production, working alongside onsite and remote delivery teams, and covers a wide range of site-specific support tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve, record and update incident resolution and workflow details, following ITIL escalation and resolution processes.
• Maintain documentation for site and client technical infrastructure.
• Support all site-specific applications and technologies, including desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, mobile phones and BlackBerry devices.
• Deploy IT solutions at the site according to Service Delivery specifications and procedures.
• Collaborate with the SD Coordinator on troubleshooting and managing site infrastructure.
• Help coordinate first-line and help desk services so that incidents are resolved on site within service levels and service requests meet SLAs.
• Assist with mobile phone terminal enrolment, onsite patching, network printer settings and server/router power cycling.
• Provide support to Infrastructure and Service Request teams and perform ad-hoc tasks requested by SD or SDM.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in the field or a related area.
• Strong client service skills and the ability to support staff of different personalities and management levels.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Microsoft OS installation and troubleshooting.
• Break/Fix support for desktops, notebooks and printers.
• Broad IT experience with networks, servers and telecoms.
• Terminal tools such as PuTTY, TeamViewer or AnyDesk, and a laptop with full administrator rights.
