Launch Project Manager

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Launch Project Manager to coordinate plant and country tasks within the automotive power distribution projects. The role involves representing plant interests, ensuring resource planning, and reporting progress to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all project meetings and drive plant/country allocated tasks (GW20 to GW70).
• Represent plant/country interests while balancing project goals and communicate relevant information to stakeholders.
• Set up the Launch team, hold regular meetings, and ensure sufficient resource planning.
• Report work package status using project management software and prepare documentation for milestone and gate reviews.
• Raise and follow up on PAM releases, tracking Capex availability, needs, and expenditures.
• Track and update equipment planning with Launch Team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in the automotive industry or a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and in a fast‑paced industrial environment.
