Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton in Rabat is looking for a Laundry Supervisor. The role covers the laundry operations of the hotel, from inventory and machine operation to staff supervision and quality control.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the inventory of uniforms and linens and conduct a monthly inventory of laundry supplies.
• Report faulty equipment, maintenance needs and safety hazards to the manager or supervisor.
• Train employees on all laundry procedures, including safety procedures and equipment operation.
• Verify that laundry requests are completed for each department as needed.
• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning and drying machinery, and inspect linens and towels for damage.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counselling, discipline and motivation of staff.
• Follow company, safety and security policies, complete safety training and certifications, and report accidents or injuries.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect company assets and confidential information, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Identify and recommend improvements to efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and cost savings.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No license or certification required.
