Manager / Senior Associate – Project Management

About the role

Managers and Senior Associates at Instiglio play a core role in project teams, overseeing execution and team management across Africa and the MENA region. Based in Rabat, they contribute to the growth of the office and to the development of results‑based financing and performance‑management services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of results‑based financing instruments and data‑driven performance management systems.
• Develop proposals and client deliverables, translating technical concepts into clear, accessible language.
• Manage project budgets, contracts and subcontractor relationships, anticipating and resolving issues.
• Oversee 1‑3 workstreams (as Senior Associate) or 3+ stand‑alone projects (as Manager), coordinating teams and ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct data analyses to generate actionable insights and present findings to public and private stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (Senior Associate) or 8 years (Manager) experience in international development, strategy consulting or the public sector.
• Master’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, Business or related field.
• Fluent English (C2) and professional proficiency in French; Arabic is a plus.
