Medical Science Liaison – Neurosciences

About the role

Novartis is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specialized in Neurosciences to lead scientific engagement with external Medical Experts. The role focuses on delivering clinical and educational strategies, responding to unsolicited medical enquiries, and supporting clinical research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map and prioritize Medical Experts (MEs) and key accounts, developing engagement plans aligned with country strategy.
• Provide scientific education and information to MEs, responding promptly to unsolicited requests.
• Support Novartis clinical research programs, optimize trial execution, and facilitate Investigator Initiated Trials.
• Serve as a medical resource for field colleagues and ensure timely reporting of technical complaints, adverse events, and special cases.
• Distribute marketing samples where applicable and work within Ethics and Compliance policies.

Required profile

• Medical, pharmacy or life‑science degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
• Experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research or related scientific roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage projects.
• Fluent in English and French.
