Operations Coordinator

About the role

The Operations Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end execution of inspection assignments, ensuring resources, equipment and communication are aligned with client requirements, quality standards and HSE rules.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate operational activities and act as the main contact between clients, operational teams, technical functions and management.
• Receive, review and acknowledge client requests, translating requirements into clear operational instructions.
• Deploy qualified personnel, transportation, equipment and PPE, considering competence and availability.
• Monitor assignment progress, communicate developments or delays, and ensure timely completion.
• Handle sample and documentation transfer between field and laboratory functions.
• Maintain accurate operational records for invoicing, cost control and audits.
• Review expenses against authorizations and support complaint, incident and non‑conformity investigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in logistics, operations, engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in inspection, testing, logistics or time‑sensitive service environments.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
• Valid driving licence and ability to work on sites, vessels or laboratories.
• Flexibility to provide shift, after‑hours or weekend support as needed.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience with ERP, LIMS or job‑management and reporting systems.
• Understanding of operational workflows, sampling, chain‑of‑custody and basic billing processes.
