Warehouse Leader

About the role

Magna Seating, which develops and manufactures complete seating systems for the automotive, heavy truck and bus industries, is looking for a Warehouse Leader. The role covers inventory management, team coordination, process optimization, compliance and safety, transportation management, performance analysis, planning and forecasting, and communication with other departments, suppliers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff
• Delegate tasks and monitor team performance to ensure high productivity
• Ensure accurate and timely picking, packing, shipping and receiving of goods
• Maintain inventory control and carry out regular stock checks
• Train new employees and support continuous team development
• Enforce safety standards and company policies, and report operational issues to management
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
• Work with maintenance, quality assurance and supply chain to keep production running smoothly

Required profile

• Degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations management or a related field (often required)
• Several years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, including team supervision and process optimization
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, manage conflicts and make effective decisions
• Good customer relationship skills and ability to work in a team and manage emergencies
• Good level of French and English
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels, and to lift and move materials
