Purchase Associate (English/Spanish)

About the role

APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, is hiring a Purchase Associate for its Procurement team at the Tangier Business Centre in Tangier, Morocco. The role provides operational, administrative and technical support to ensure efficient purchasing across terminal operations, combining supplier coordination, purchase order management, data administration and stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end procurement process by identifying and engaging suppliers and managing purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up with relevant parties so goods and services arrive on time.
• Work with internal stakeholders so procurement meets technical, financial and quality requirements.
• Contribute to cost-saving and process-efficiency initiatives.
• Assist senior buyers with supplier performance evaluations and contract administration.
• Maintain accurate procurement data, documentation and records in procurement systems.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Procurement team as needed.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration or a related field; ENCG Tangier graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
• Recent graduate or early career, 0-1 year of professional experience.
• Legally authorized to work and reside in Morocco; relocation assistance and work permit sponsorship are not available.
• Available to join on a fixed-term contract of six months.
