Planning Supervisor

About the role

Yazaki Morocco is seeking a Planning Supervisor to join its Logistics Department at the Meknes plant. The role focuses on developing and maintaining production plans, ensuring on‑time delivery, and supporting the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability in the automotive sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly production plans based on customer forecasts, demand leveling, and plant capacity.
• Monitor customer orders, analyse demand fluctuations and adjust schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Coordinate with service centers and cross‑functional teams to manage forecast changes, urgent orders and shipping priorities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy, control stock levels and drive dead‑stock reduction initiatives.
• Release and monitor work orders in SAP, ensuring alignment with planning requirements and resolving system issues.
• Track daily production performance, identify capacity constraints and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare planning reports, monitor order variations and provide data‑driven insights for supply‑chain decisions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, supply‑chain or material planning, preferably in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, master production scheduling, capacity planning and inventory management.
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• SAP (PP/MM) or equivalent ERP system.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
