Product Owner ServiceNow Finance

About the role

The Product Owner (PO) ServiceNow Finance defines, prioritizes and drives the roadmap of ServiceNow solutions supporting Finance processes. Acting as the main link between Finance stakeholders and IT teams, the role ensures that ServiceNow capabilities meet business objectives and deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the ServiceNow Finance product backlog
• Gather, analyze and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria and business priorities
• Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning and product reviews with Agile teams
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, architects and business analysts to deliver solutions
• Evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests based on business value and strategic objectives
• Support testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment readiness
• Monitor product performance, adoption and user satisfaction
• Drive continuous improvement and process optimization
• Manage stakeholder communication and ensure compliance with governance, security, audit and Finance control requirements

Required profile

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Functional Lead
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of Finance processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Controls and Budget Management
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements
• Experience with cross-functional and global teams

Required skills

• ServiceNow platform administration or implementation experience
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) and workflow automation is a plus
• Product ownership, business analysis, requirement management, strategic thinking and change management
