Production Inspector Clerk

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of power distribution and connectivity solutions for the automotive industry, is hiring a full-time Clerk Production Inspector in Casablanca. The role covers quality checks and inspections on the assembly line, including the use of the red-card and stop-at-first-defect processes.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out the checks defined in the quality control plan and record the required data
• Identify non-conforming products using the red-card process and give feedback to the line and the WPA, using the stop-at-first-defect process
• Distribute and collect PDEK or other control charts
• Inspect 5S/housekeeping in the area of responsibility and identify product risks such as material on the floor, damaged terminals or bent stands
• Check that operators are qualified according to the skills matrix and that the OK-to-start procedure is followed at the start of each shift
• Verify error-proofing (poka-yoke, jigs, good/bad sample tests) and that assembly aid tools are available and in good condition
• Validate the completion of the packing process and that in-line and off-line reworks follow procedures
• Audit final harness inspection against the QM plan and care points

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (Bac +2/+3) in quality or a related field
• Fluent French, spoken and written
• Fluent English, spoken and written
