Production Manager - Salé

About the role

A production manager position in Salé leads and manages all operational and strategic production activities, from planning capacity and budgets to driving continuous improvement and supporting product launches. Documents must be submitted in English.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational and strategic production activities, ensuring quality, cost, productivity, delivery performance and safety targets are met
• Coach, develop and support Group Leaders and their teams
• Plan and manage production capacity according to customer requirements and plant objectives
• Monitor, analyse and continuously improve key production KPIs and optimise use of manpower, equipment and resources
• Manage the production budget, identify cost-reduction opportunities and drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead productivity, investment, industrialisation and process optimisation projects
• Collaborate closely with Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, HR and Finance
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, safety and company standards
• Support new product launches, ramp-ups, organisational changes and process improvements
• Foster a high-performance culture, maintain constructive relationships with employees and representatives, and prepare regular production performance reports
• Resolve production, quality and delivery escalations in a timely manner

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production (ideally automotive)
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a comparable production management role
• Experience managing large production organisations and leading supervisors or Group Leaders
• Experience in the automotive industry, ideally wire harness or electrical distribution systems manufacturing
• Fluent English and French; Arabic and other languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production systems and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Solid experience in capacity planning, budgeting and cost management
• Understanding of quality management systems and automotive standards
• Change management, transformation and organisational development projects
• Analytical, strategic problem-solving and results-driven leadership
