Production Manager - Salé

About the role

SEBN Maroc is looking for a Production Manager for its location in Salé, Morocco. The position leads and manages all operational and strategic production activities, including planning capacity, managing the budget and driving continuous improvement. Documents must be submitted in English.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage operational and strategic production activities and ensure quality, cost, productivity, delivery performance and safety targets are met
• Coach, develop and support Group Leaders and their teams
• Plan and manage production capacity according to customer requirements and plant objectives
• Monitor, analyse and continuously improve key production KPIs and optimise use of manpower, equipment and resources
• Manage the production budget and identify cost reduction and efficiency improvements
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives, and lead productivity, investment, industrialisation and process optimisation projects
• Collaborate with Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, HR and Finance
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, safety and company standards
• Support new product launches, ramp-ups, organisational changes and process improvements
• Foster a high-performance culture, maintain constructive relationships with employees and their representatives, and prepare regular production performance reports
• Resolve escalations on production, quality and delivery in a timely manner

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Production or Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field
• At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing or production (ideally automotive)
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a comparable production management role
• Experience managing large production organisations and leading supervisors or Group Leaders
• Automotive industry experience, ideally in wire harness or electrical distribution systems manufacturing
• Fluent English and French; Arabic and other languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, production systems and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Solid experience in capacity planning, budgeting and cost management
• Understanding of quality management systems and automotive standards
• Change management, transformation and organisational development projects
