Program Buyer

About the role

The Program Buyer supports the coordination between the Purchasing function and platform teams (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain) for the development and serial production of vehicles. The role is responsible for a defined product perimeter, assisting the purchasing team in supplier selection, managing supplier relationships and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Kick‑off suppliers after award confirmation and negotiate volume increases during development.
• Control and negotiate the impact of engineering changes, focusing on cost and timing.
• Release final production price and manage price changes.
• Identify troubled suppliers or potential shortages and coordinate escalations with stakeholders.
• Support Supplier Quality teams to meet capacity and quality targets.
• Lead summary meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to manage negotiations and achieve total production cost targets.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Procurement, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement and supplier negotiation.
• Strong report‑writing ability and proactive, professional attitude.
• Professional working proficiency in French (B2‑C1) and English (B2‑C1).
