Project Manager – International Railway Signalling Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager in Siemens Mobility’s International Project Execution team, you will lead complex railway signalling projects from acquisition through delivery, coordinating multicultural teams across diverse regions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and control all project phases, including team management, financial oversight and reporting.
• Participate in acquisition activities, negotiate orders and manage contracts, handling claims when necessary.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks while pursuing opportunities to enhance project value.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and collaborative communication.
• Guarantee that all deliverables comply with quality standards and railway safety regulations.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Engineering Manager in railway signalling.
• Proven experience on multinational, multicultural projects with frequent travel.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of signalling interlocking, ERTMS, Centralized Traffic Control systems and Communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online.
• Familiarity with railway safety regulations.
