Remote Legal Assistant – Full‑time

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Remote Legal Assistant to join our legal team on a full‑time basis. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support, handling documents, case files, and research for matters under US or UK jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents such as motions, contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Organise and maintain both physical and electronic case files, ensuring accurate archiving.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
• Act as a liaison between attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Manage legal calendars, scheduling depositions, hearings, and meetings.
• File documents with court systems and government agencies in compliance with legal standards.
• Handle telephone calls, email correspondence, and billing tasks.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or legal secretary in US or UK law.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a Paralegal Certification.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
