Brand Safety & IP Specialist (IP Lawyer)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Brand Safety & IP Specialist to provide legal expertise on intellectual property, copyright and platform compliance for major social media channels. The role will support cross‑functional teams in licensing, risk assessment and dispute resolution across digital platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate content licensing, UGC and commercial agreements with rapid turnaround.
• Assess legal, reputational and monetisation risks on Meta, YouTube and Snapchat, applying brand‑safety and copyright guidelines.
• Prepare clear legal memos and advisory notes for non‑legal teams.
• Manage copyright claims, strikes and platform disputes, including filing appeals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law with a focus on IP, media or related fields; bar admission or PhD is a plus.
• Professional fluency in legal English; French is a strong advantage.
• Experience in a law firm or corporate setting handling IP/copyright matters, preferably in digital media or content moderation.
• High autonomy, strong written communication and ability to work in high‑volume environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace.
• Use of legal research databases.

What we offer

• Base monthly fee of USD 1,300, paid in two installments.
• 100 % remote work on a service‑contract basis.
