Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud Security (Short‑term)

About the role

Intetics Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and secure resilient cloud infrastructures on a short‑term basis. You will work closely with security and development teams to ensure that cloud environments are protected against emerging threats while supporting continuous delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust cloud architectures on AWS, Azure or Oracle Cloud.
• Develop, assess and harden cloud security solutions for systems, databases and networks.
• Monitor logs, perform vulnerability assessments and analyse security incidents.
• Contribute to the definition of security policies, procedures and standards for cloud environments.
• Create technical and managerial security reports for cloud‑based applications.
• Implement and test disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity procedures.
• Control access to sensitive data and ensure confidentiality during transmission, storage and processing.
• Provide end‑user support for network and security‑related issues.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience, including at least 2 years focused on cloud security.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team.
• Availability to work in the CET timezone.

Required skills

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – IAM, Organizations, VPC, Transit Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF.
• Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps methodologies and container security.
