Senior Legal Counsel – Morocco

About the role

You will support Glovo in day‑to‑day business activities, from negotiating contracts and providing comprehensive legal advice to navigating regulatory complexities, ensuring compliance, and managing corporate matters and litigations. You will address evolving laws, competition, labor and data‑privacy issues while defining legal frameworks that support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support Glovo in daily business activities, including contract negotiation and legal advice.
• Navigate regulatory complexities, ensure compliance and enable business innovation.
• Manage corporate matters and litigations while defining frameworks for sustainable growth.
• Address evolving legal landscapes such as competition, labor and data‑privacy issues.
• Collaborate closely with the local Moroccan team and the HQ legal team to provide timely support.
• Drive expansion of the role’s scope within Morocco as the company grows.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of relevant experience in reputable legal departments or top‑tier law firms.
• Strong grounding in commercial, consumer and antitrust/competition law.
• Proven experience in corporate governance and managing litigations or settlements.
• Excellent English, Arabic and French (native/fluent).
• Adaptability to a fast‑paced environment and ability to prioritize effectively.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, high energy and capacity to handle high‑pressure situations.
