Senior Manager, Transformation Project Management

About the role

Save the Children International is seeking a Senior Manager to lead a complex, global transformation initiative. The role sits within the Transformation Development team and is responsible for end‑to‑end project management, ensuring the initiative is planned, governed and executed to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, risk and issue management, and status reporting.
• Develop and maintain core project artefacts such as the Project Assurance Plan, Project Brief and Project Plan.
• Contribute to strategic planning, work‑stream sequencing and the identification of cross‑cutting risks and dependencies.
• Support governance, escalation and decision‑making in partnership with the Project Lead.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Global Change Managers and Business Functions to align project plans with broader delivery activities.
• Engage with a diverse set of stakeholders across the organization, including Country Offices and Members, to ensure readiness for implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale, multi‑regional transformation projects.
• Strong ability to work in a flexible, fast‑changing environment and redeploy across initiatives as priorities shift.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with a track record of influencing senior leaders.
