Senior PHP Developer – WPML Multilingual Plugin

About the role

We are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join the team behind WPML, the most widely used multilingual plugin for WordPress. You will work on both development and support, gaining deep product knowledge while helping customers solve real‑world problems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and ship new features for WPML.
• Maintain and improve existing components to ensure stability and performance.
• Provide technical support to WPML users, diagnose issues, and propose product enhancements.
• Collaborate with the team to refine testing practices and adopt modern development tooling.

Required profile

• Strong experience with PHP and a passion for continuous learning.
• Expertise in WordPress, including local development setup, admin navigation, and basic theme/plugin development.
• Proven ability to debug complex issues, trace root causes, and suggest meaningful improvements.
• Commitment to writing clean, testable code.
• Fluent in English and at least one of French, German, or Spanish.
• Clear communication style and a genuine desire to help others.
