Senior Sales Data Analyst

About the role

An American Fortune 500 company specializing in distribution and value-added services for electronic components and computer products is looking for a Senior Sales Data Analyst in Casablanca. The role analyzes large volumes of sensitive data, ensures data governance and delivers actionable insights to senior executives, while building business metrics, dashboards and consistent KPIs to support strategic planning.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement, ensuring data integrity and governance across systems and formats
• Work with sensitive data in line with compliance and security standards
• Develop and track KPIs, and create dashboards and reports for senior executives
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to align KPIs with local compensation targets and strategic planning
• Use Power BI, Salesforce and Excel to build dashboards, and work with ERP systems such as Microsoft AX and Oracle
• Work with the BI team to improve reporting and system functionality
• Set up data collection, analysis and reporting processes where they do not yet exist, combining multiple data sources into coherent reports
• Present business insights and recommendations to senior executives and communicate findings to stakeholders at all levels

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or another data analytics-related field
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis or a related role
• Experience building processes, dashboards and BI tools from scratch
• Strong understanding of data governance, business metrics and strategic planning
• Preferred: knowledge of compensation programs and supplier KPIs, and experience in IT or sales

Required skills

• Advanced data analytics tools, including Power BI and Excel (Power Query, macros)
• Experience with Salesforce and ERP systems is a plus
