Software Development Consultant I

About the role

We are seeking a Software Development Consultant I to join Oracle’s technology team. In this role you will design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs that support databases, applications, tools and networks, contributing to the delivery of innovative AI‑enabled cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and debug software components for various platforms.
• Apply basic software architecture knowledge to create or enhance applications and operating systems according to detailed specifications.
• Build enhancements and extensions within existing software architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across databases, applications, tools and network integrations.

• Basic understanding of software architecture principles.
• Ability to follow design specifications and produce reliable code.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
