Talent Acquisition & People Officer

About the role

M.Design, a growing engineering firm delivering technical services and digital solutions, seeks a Talent Acquisition & People Officer. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle, enhance onboarding, and drive employee retention to build stable, high‑performing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment: create vacancies, source candidates via LinkedIn, job boards, universities and other channels, screen CVs, conduct first‑round interviews and coordinate technical interviews with managers.
• Maintain a talent pipeline for future needs and continuously improve sourcing and hiring methods.
• Oversee onboarding: organize initial follow‑up sessions, gather new‑hire feedback and work with managers to address early‑stage issues.
• Monitor turnover, conduct exit interviews, analyse trends and propose actions to boost engagement and retention.
• Serve as an accessible point of contact for employees and managers, fostering a professional and positive work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Management, Psychology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in recruitment or HR, preferably within technical, engineering, IT or BIM/CAD environments.
• Strong sourcing ability, solid interviewing and assessment skills, and capacity to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a plus.
