Therapist – Spa Services

About the role

Join the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort as a Spa Therapist, delivering high‑quality massage and body‑treatment services to guests. You will ensure a safe, comfortable, and memorable wellness experience while upholding Marriott’s standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before each service.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and treatment room, sterilising tools and handling linens.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and monitor their comfort throughout the session.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott SOPs.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of relevant spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 10 lb without assistance.
• Strong attention to detail, professionalism and confidentiality.

• Sanitation and tool sterilisation procedures.
