Commercial Operations Engineer (Bilingual French/English)

About the role

The Commercial Operations Engineer supports the sales organisation by preparing proposals, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with commercial commitments. Working closely with application engineers and commercial leaders, the role balances technical understanding with strong commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all commercial activities related to proposals, in partnership with application engineers and sales managers.
• Draft commercial offers following the internal proposal review process.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to develop project risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Negotiate proposals with customers, identify deviations from standard terms, and align on contractual conditions.
• Ensure seamless handover of signed contracts to the project execution team after order intake.

Required profile

• Engineering degree, business school degree or equivalent master’s qualification.
• Strong knowledge of sales processes, contractual and technical negotiation, financial aspects, risk management and contract taxation.
• Fluent in both French and English.
