About the role
The Commis Baker will join the Four Seasons Hotel Rabat Kasr Al Bahr team, reporting to the Pastry Chef. This position prepares, bakes, and presents a variety of breads, pastries, viennoiseries, and other bakery products while upholding the highest standards of quality, consistency, food safety, and hygiene.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients according to established recipes and operate bakery equipment.
- Monitor baking processes, ensure proper storage, and rotate stock of bakery products.
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and support waste‑minimisation initiatives.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year of baking, pastry, or related culinary experience in a luxury hotel, resort, bakery, or upscale restaurant.
- Strong understanding of baking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- Fluency in French, Arabic, and English preferred, with eligibility to work in Morocco.
Required skills
- Baking and pastry preparation.
- Food safety and hygiene compliance.
- Operating bakery equipment (ovens, mixers, etc.).
