Data Engineering Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Data Engineering Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance data pipelines and storage solutions on Google Cloud. You will work within a multicultural team that values innovation, continuous learning, and the delivery of AI‑enhanced experiences for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, monitor, and optimise near real‑time streaming pipelines that route CCAIP voice and chat sessions into Google BigQuery.
• Integrate Gemini Enterprise for generative AI‑driven customer experiences, grounding agents on enterprise knowledge bases.
• Maintain low‑latency Firestore and BigTable configurations for active chat session states and metadata.
• Architect resilient, high‑performance system designs and produce technical diagrams for management.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, delegating tasks and overseeing technical development.
• Create sandboxed environments for testing, identify pipeline errors, and apply post‑launch hot‑fixes.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to gather requirements, negotiate scope changes, and present final deliverables.
• Implement automated PII redaction workflows to ensure data‑privacy compliance before storage.

Required profile

• University or college degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar data engineering role.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Active Google Professional Data Engineer certification.
