Director of Food & Beverage Operations

About the role

The Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort is seeking a dynamic Director of Food & Beverage Operations to lead all F&B activities, including culinary, restaurants, bars, room service, and banquets. Reporting to senior hotel management, you will shape and execute the department’s strategy to meet brand standards, enhance guest satisfaction, and drive profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a food and beverage operating strategy aligned with the brand’s business objectives.
• Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring compliance with policies, standards, and service excellence.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, and training to meet guest service and financial targets.
• Control budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance; review reports and recommend investments.
• Lead procurement, inventory, cash, and liquor control processes.
• Set performance goals for the F&B team and monitor achievement through regular inspections and reporting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 6 years of progressive experience in food & beverage, culinary, or event management, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that improve financial results.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on employee satisfaction and guest experience.
