Laundry Manager

About the role

Responsible for the daily operations of the hotel laundry department, overseeing washing, drying and ironing of linen for guest rooms and the Food & Beverage area. The role ensures a safe, clean work environment while driving guest and employee satisfaction and maximizing departmental financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day laundry operations, maintaining quality standards and meeting guest expectations.
• Supervise and schedule laundry staff, covering duties in employees’ absence.
• Communicate and enforce safety procedures, monitor compliance and report hazards.
• Control department budgets, operating statements and payroll reports to achieve financial targets.
• Order and manage supplies, equipment, tools and uniforms within budget.
• Coordinate with Engineering for equipment maintenance and handle breakdowns.
• Develop and implement new techniques, supplies and equipment to improve efficiency.
• Lead and motivate the team, fostering trust, respect and collaboration.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years experience in laundry, housekeeping or a related professional area.
