Senior AD Simulation Software Developer

About the role

The Software Organization of Stellantis is looking for Senior AD Simulation Software Developers to join its Autonomous Driving software team. The role develops, integrates and deploys clean, highly scalable code for the SiL platform used to test and validate the autonomous driving stack, and builds solutions to orchestrate large-scale simulations on-premise and on cloud so that future L2 and L3 products can be tested reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and deploy clean, highly scalable code for the SiL platform that tests and validates the autonomous driving stack.
• Build solutions that orchestrate large-scale simulations on-premise and on cloud to ensure the reliability of L2 and L3 products.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and contribute to the technical growth of the team.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics or similar.
• Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience.
• Fluent English (C1).
• Nice to have: PhD in a related field, simulation software expertise (Carla, CarMaker, dSpace), AUTOSAR classic and adaptive experience, ECUs virtualization, Matlab/Simulink, C#, ISO 26262 and SOTIF knowledge, and Agile/Scrum experience.

Required skills

• C++ and Python, with good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Software design methods and quality standards such as MISRA and SPICE.
• Linux, Git/GitHub and versioning tools.
• Docker and Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• SIL and HIL testing, and knowledge of CAN-FD, SOME/IP and other automotive communication protocols.
