Senior Chef de Rang / Assistant Floor Manager

About the role

La Cale is a floating listening bar and club in Rabat that serves up to 200 guests. The venue operates a seated listening bar from 9 pm followed by a club atmosphere until closing. The role combines senior table service with the opportunity to gradually take on floor‑management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent table service throughout the night and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Supervise an assigned section, coordinating waiters and bar staff.
• Enter orders accurately into the venue’s digital management system and follow service procedures.
• Assist with pre‑service briefings, opening set‑up, checklists and closing tasks.
• Identify operational issues, report incidents and suggest practical improvements.
• Progressively learn floor management, team supervision and operational controls.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as Chef de Rang, senior waiter or shift supervisor in a restaurant, bar or club.
• Excellent understanding of restaurant service and guest relations.
• Organised, punctual, reliable and detail‑oriented.
• Fluent in French and Darija; English is a plus.
• Available for evening, late‑night and weekend shifts.

Required skills

• Comfortable using smartphones, applications and digital management tools.
• Ability to take initiative, follow procedures and lead by example.
